Stella Maris, Mpulungu
Stella Maris, meaning ‘star of the sea’ is a school in Mpulungu that caters to 350 students. After a decline in enrolment, their goal is to reach 500 students registered while becoming the premier school in the district. After adding boarding to their school, Stella Maris has created a master plan to improve their offerings including the Learning for School Platform.
With the motto of “Quality education for today’s children is better foundation for tomorrow’s nation,” Stella Maris is on their way to become one of the leading schools in the area. Aligned with this philosophy, we’ve worked with Stella Maris to provide the necessary resources for their students to receive a quality education. We’ve installed 36 computers, a Television, and tablets along with our software for the teachers to utilize.
With on-going training and access to over 800 resources, the teachers at Stella Maris have been able to utilize the Learning for School ecosystem to improve their professional development. We’re proud to have partnered with Stella Maris to support their mission on providing quality education.
